Calligraphy personalising serivice at Selfridges...

I'll be working with Burberry customer service team at Selfridges. Will be writing gift tags, a part of their gift wrapping special service.

Japanese calligraphy hands-on on Japan Day, and future classes
Sat 18th Mar, busy day of many visitors at Kaetsu Centre, Cambridge. Many children, adults - Japanese and non-Japanese tried and enjoyed the brush feeling. We exhibited our Kaki-zome, too which made some children proud.

Calligraphy at stores - celebrating Lunar New Year
Had fantastic three days at store, on Regent Street to personalise items with calligraphy. It is always interesting and rewarding to have positive comments from customers directly. And fun to work with very helpful and friendly, hard working floor stuff.

First Japanese calligraphy class in Cambridge 書き初め
First class of Japanese calligraphy at Kaetsu Centre in Cambridge will be on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th January 2017. Friday is for everyone, drop in session.
We do 'kaki zome' first calligraphy of the year, with a wish of progress. In schools many still do at the beginning of the year, often as a competition. Let's enjoy Japanese calligraphy in 2017 too!

At store works for Christmas shopping - all done!
Personalising service at stores, for my client's customer has been all done. Busy Regent Street, Oxford Street and many other places. It is nice to meet customers face to face and given lovely comments. Often meet other crafts men or artists too. Hopefully it continues through towards Chinese New Year and Valentine's day.

Japanese calligraphy class at Kaetsu Centre, Cambridge
Started Summer of 2016, Friday and Saturday, we have a class for adult or children to learn basic Japanese calligraphy. Drop in session for an hour, for both beginners and experienced people. Saturday class is for the children at Shirasu Bunko there but everyone is welcome on Friday session.
Next one is on 13, 14th January 2017.
